The easiest way to manage accounts on OSX
As the administrator of a Mac with multiple users, you want to make sure that each of them has access to preferences and items that they need, and that the right applications are set up. You could do it one by one, or you could work with TheAdmin.
This tool, although still in Beta, so a little unstable and still lacking in features, should make your life much easier. Select the accounts to act upon from the left side menu, or simply choose to select all from the drop down pane at the bottom, then select the applications and files to install and drop them into the table view at the top. Removing is just a case of selecting an application and pressing backspace.
Using TheAdmin, only the applications you choose will appear in a user's Dock, and you can set it differently for every user, changing the order or which ones appear.
Obviously it would be nice to see control over more settings like security or sharing preferences. Let's keep in mind that TheAdmin is still in Beta though and should hopefully have new features later on.
